Business Intelligence Analyst-Developer (ETL, Business Objects, Oracle)

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Analyst-Developer, fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Data Warehouse team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Requirements’ and data analysis, data modelling on database, universe and report level;
- Design and creation of adaptation reports;
- Administration of Business Objects and elaboration of test programs;
- Review the applicability of the developed functionalities and administer the user acceptance tests;
- Monitor the application usage, performance and optimization;
- Definition and implementation of security policies;
- Provision of technical assistance to other team members and documentation.
Your skills:
- Minimum 13 years of combined University Studies and experience in IT;
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Business Intelligence, ideally Business Objects (i.e: Universes, reports, WebI XI) and ETL and date extraction tools (BODI/BODS);
- Experience in Oracle databases, SQL and PL/SQL programming languages;
- Good knowledge of UML, basic knowledge of RUP will be considered an asset;
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
